For this group project, we had to create a complete brand identity, including a name, logo, typography, color palette, and packaging. In a group of three, we created a minimalist perfume brand called Muse.
We started by researching luxury and minimalist perfume brands to understand how they use typography, color, and packaging to express personality. From this research, we decided that Muse would focus on softness, simplicity, and modern femininity.
Our design choices reflected this direction. We chose a clean sans serif font and a neutral color palette with beige and soft rose tones. The logo was kept simple, a delicate wordmark that matched the minimal aesthetic. For packaging, we designed a sleek, understated bottle and box with very little text and lots of negative space.
As a team, we collaborated on all decisions, and I worked especially on the visual identity and packaging mockups. In the end, our project presented a fully developed brand that felt cohesive, elegant, and true to the minimalist concept.
